The West Louisville Community Council, also known as WLCC, is an  independent organization of residents from all 9 West Louisville neighborhoods and anyone concerned about West Louisville's future.  Our primary goal is to represent the West End's collective voice when government officials are making decisions about land development in West Louisville.  We need ordinary people from West End streets to join us in making sure that land development in West Louisville meets our community’s  needs.

Our Goals

  • Secure a transparent, public solicitation process for the development of 24 contiguous acres at 30th, Muhammad Ali, & Market Streets.
  • Share with Louisville Metro Government our community's vision  for welcomed development opportunities in West Louisville
  • Develop a long-term fluid process that provides community input and endorsement of large scale West Louisville development projects.
